Hi everyone,
My name is Melinda Curran, I am 21 years old and I live on a farm outside of the Victorian town of Rutherglen. I am currently in my fourth year of a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary). I am excited to learn more about integrating technology into the classroom that supports learning in a meaningful way. As classroom technologies are an ever-changing area of education, I believe it is fundamental for me to develop my personal skills and knowledge in relation to this.
I have not had a lot of experience with integrating technology into my lessons whilst on placement. During my most recent placement I was able to incorporate various websites and programs into my lessons using a projector and a traditional whiteboard. For this reason I am keen to explore how I can use an Interactive whiteboard instead, and develop my skills and understanding of how to use it. I would also like to explore new apps and software that I can incorporate in the classroom to further engage students.
